In September the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) went live with their new 302kW solar system. Greentech RenewablesSolar worked with Mill Plain Electric to provide BPA with a reliable and efficient system. The solar sits on BPA's new Administration and Maintenance buildings at the BPA Ross complex in Vancouver, WA. Months of discussion and planning helped ensure that the new solar system provided enough energy, complied with local permitting requirements and left room for future additions.

The Yaskawa-Solectria 50 and 60KW transformerless inverters paired with rapid shutdown combiner boxes allowed flexibility in design while reducing install time. The project also featured the SolarWorld 350XL modules, S-5! clamps and IronRidge rails. The expected annual output of the system is an impressive 317.4 MWh. Thank you, Mill Plain Electric for an awesome install and congratulations to BPA on going solar!
