Greentech Renewables and RER Energy Group teamed up last year to develop a solar array for Domino Sugars in Baltimore, MD. The office building, with its iconic electric sign playing a prominent role in the Baltimore skyline, is now powered by clean, renewable energy provided by the 35kW rooftop array.
SMA inverters were chosen due to the world class reputation of SMA as well as the cutting edge features of the Sunny Tripower series. The two transformerless 15000TL-US units used in the array boast a peak efficiency above 98 percent, while OptiTrac Global Peak minimizes the effects of shade for maximum energy production.
The AET Rayport ballast mount configuration underwent a host of changes and was complicated by the unique structural demands of the roof. Throughout the entire process, AET provided steadfast customer support and invaluable engineering expertise.
